The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas

While i'm still wiping my tears off my face, (and runny snot) I shall recommend you to watch this extremely moving movie about a two boys and a fence. (Of course it's much deeper than that)

I swear, bring a box of tissues if you'll be watching... It's a MUST. (Unless you'd like your sleeve covered in mucus and tears) Since I am a huge history geek, this intrigued me because my ate mentioned something about the Nazis and Jews and that particular subject in history I am most interested about, because of the many perspectives you can look at it from. Like VALKYRIE, the movie shown last month about an assassination attempt of Hitler, I loved that one as well. (I also think Tom Cruise is hot) But this particular movie caught my heart off guard and had me crying barely even halfway through watching it. (But I believe that's just me, I always get so emotional over movies)

That aside, I seriously recommend watching this movie, NOT when you want to celebrate a birthday or a date or something, but when you want to... Iunno, JUST WATCH IT! (But be prepared though, it ain't a happy-fantastical-whimsy movie at all.

His name is Shmuel... Poor Shmuel....

Cosplay Ideas for this SUMMA!

AYDEEYUSSSSSSSSS!

Instead of starting the long, treacherous journey towards academic enlightment for my 4th Quarter exams, let me enlighten YOU on my cosplay ideas that I'm seriously going to do for this summer.

Number ONE!

Hetalia, RUSSIA!

Why: Because I'm in love with this country. Great pastries, great language, interesting history... I've read books on two of Russia's royals, Anastasia and Catherine the Great, and I absolutely love Russia! Also, it is very cold there. ( ´∀`)I lurves the cold! Внушительно!

Perks: No one else in this country will be cosplaying Russia anytime soon, let alone anyone from Hetalia. Also, I'll be re-using the boots and wig from my Link cosplay! It'll also be fun walking around in a military outfit.
Downfall: I doubt a lot of people will recognize me >_> But that's ok, right? O(≧∇≦)O

Hey Gia! If you're reading this, I suggest the idea of you being...
Ehermm

Number two...

Chihiro from Spirited Away.

Actually, I thought of this before Russia, but I'm having a bit of trouble with the hair
(o`皿′o)ノ See, my original hairstyle had perfect length, but I recently had a hair cut and it's really short now! I have the bangs and the sides necessary for her hair, but then it's too short... ( ̄~ ̄;)

Perks: It's HAYAO MIYAZAKI. Beautiful movie and awesome character. Plus, it's extremely simple (The pink outfit she's wearing) and looks comfortable! Can't wait! Plus, I'm betting more than enough people here know about this film. Plus, Gia will be Haku! Perfect!

Downfall: The hairzzz... I can't afford wigs, extensions blah blah

Nation's name: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (I am translating his name to "England" or "UK" purely because I have asked people from the UK and they said even the nation's name is pretty tricky/touchy.)
Capital: London
Language: English
National flower: Narcissus, Tudor Rose
Birthday: Unknown
Human name: Arthur Kirkland (thanks to [info]equivalent_t for this!)
Height: 175cm
Age: 23 (appearance)
-A rainy empire that was once a pirate, now a gentleman (?)
-Was once a subordinate of France, but after taking the top half of France's land and getting violent with him, it's spoiled their relationship and now they're fighting buddies.
-As a former pirate, used to torment Spain and set up colonies here and there and everywhere. Was a pretty violent little boy.
-Is cynical, hates to lose, and is slightly obstinate.
-Seems to be cold at first, but is surprisingly devoted to someone if he becomes friends with that person.
-Has a real potty mouth, but is not a bad guy.
-Loves spirits/ghosts, faeries, magic and legends to the point where he has a list of spiritual residents as well as ghost tours.
-Also, is a nation that keeps appearing on the news for stupid sex acts.

Ah, England, the former pirate, and has now turned in to the guy with a lot of little brothers and sisters to raise. Bravo! England seems to be one of the more interesting characters, in my (un)professional opinion. He has an interest in the supernatural (fairys, unicorns, the like) which I am guessing he gets from the Scottish and Irish parts of him. A little stuck up, and a bit indifferent to affection, but he means well :)
